Album Cover

Well, it's finally here. 2 years ago, Gerry Sullivan took me along to meet Stevie Lawrence, thinking about recording a collection of songs that we could give away to our family and friends as Christmas presents.

Stevie and I became great friends, he came and heard us play at Celtic Connections 2007, then he took us down to meet Tommy Roseburgh at Big Sky Studios and now, rather than having a Christmas Album for 2006, I have 1000 copies of a professionally recorded and produced Album for 2008. :)

I hope that those of you who buy the album will enjoy it. It's a collection of songs that I wrote during the past 3 years, plus two from some years before, a few covers and two arrangements of traditional songs.

Feel free to leave comments and to let me know what you think.

Best wishes

We saw Jayne at the Royal Oak and bought the album which has been constantly played ever since! It's great and we hope to hear her again soon.

As Jayne's Mum I have to say that her CD is fabulous, but it actually is! and although I may be biased, I love it, want to listen to it all the time and I am just so proud to be able to say: "this is my daughter's CD". Sii did a lovely job of the CD sleeve so I can be doubly proud of them both. I think Jayne has been really lucky to have so many wonderful musicians to work who have added their talents to her own to make such beautiful music. I am already looking forward to the next one!!

Hello, Finally took your CD on a long car journey and enjoyed each moment of a very tender and thoughtful album. Well done and Stevie too! Maybe you'll even consider singing one of mine when you return to the studio!!!

    much love,

    Paul and Jane
