Treatments Available:

Swedish Relaxation Massage

If you’re having trouble sleeping or would just like to take an hour to relax, then this treatment is for you. Swedish Massage provides a light to moderate pressured massage and can calm the nerves, release positive endorphins, improve blood flow, exfoliate the skin, remove tension from tired and tense muscles, leaving your body feeling relaxed and calm. This is an ideal treatment if you haven’t experienced massage before and is most beneficial when you can take plenty of time to relax after the treatment.

Sports Massage

Perhaps you have a stiff neck, tight ham strings or achy arms? Sports Massage will help to improve the condition of your muscles, to remove lactic acid build up, to reduce tension and help muscles repair. It’s an intense, revitalising treatment using a variety of massage and facilitated stretching techniques. It usually focuses on one particular part of your body for the duration of the treatment, depending on what feels most uncomfortable to you on a frequent basis. Sports Massage generally feels uncomfortable during the treatment and for up to twenty four hours afterwards, but with rest, plenty of fluids and by following our aftercare advice, it will definitely improve your body’s performance and help your muscles to relax. We also offer pre-event and post-event sports massage. Please see Sports Massage for more details.

Deep Tissue Massage

If you’re feeling achy, but don’t quite feel that Sports Massage is the treatment for you, Deep Tissue is the half way house between Sports and Swedish Massage. Again, we work particular areas of your body during the treatment, using deep pressures to release muscle tension, reduce muscle fatigue and to ease aches and pains. If you suffer from tense shoulders or lower back pain, this could be the treatment that will suit you best.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is a seated massage which is based on Ayurverdic principles. Your shoulders and neck will be massaged deeply to reduce muscle tension, the treatment includes work on the upper arms and scalp, with sinus drainage moves on the face and optional chakra cleansing to finish. It’s very relaxing and can help you to sleep deeply after the treatment. Scalp massage can be performed with or without oils and will improve the condition of your scalp, stimulating the hair follicles and improving the hair’s condition, encouraging growth.

Traditional Thai Foot Massage

Traditional Thai Foot Massage is a unique and powerful therapy and an ancient form of therapeutic healing. It’s a wonderful treatment to promote overall health, increase energy and to provide a general sense of well-being. It uses acupressure and Thai massage techniques to stimulate the reflex points on the feet and gently stretch out the muscles in both legs and feet to produce a deep and unique feeling of balance and relaxation.

Facials using ‘Nature’s Way’ Products

An hour of total relaxation and pampering. Your face will be cleansed, with a choice of Nature’s Way Products, selected for your individual skin type. Your therapist will apply a face mask of your choice, before massaging your hands and feet with luxurious ‘Exmoor Aromas’ aromatherapy oils. Once the mask is removed, your face will be toned and moisturised. You will receive a neck, face and head massage as part of the treatment.

Seated Acupressure On-Site Massage

For this treatment, you are in a seated position and do not need to remove any clothes. It can take 10, 20 or 30 minutes and can be conducted in a public area, whilst maintaining your modesty. It is a meridian based therapy in which thumb, finger, elbow and knuckle pressure are used over many of the acupressure points on the 12 major meridians accessible on your back, arms, hands, neck, head and legs. Why not benefit from this quick, dynamic, de-stressing therapy and then return to your daily life buzzing with energy? This treatment is ideal for events, festivals and working environments.
